Impact Connect combines community submissions with public, official data. This page lists where information comes from, so you can judge it yourself.

Community submissions

Volunteering needs, events, blood requirements, pro-bono offers and similar listings are submitted by people and organisations, and published only after review.
Contact details shared in submissions are never shown publicly.

Official and government open data

Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) company master data, via the Government of India's open-data platform (data.gov.in) - used for company and CSR-related lookups.
Government open-data portals (data.gov.in and ministry publications) - for verified statistics shown in Impact and CSR sections.
State and national disaster-management sources - for Disaster mode alerts and guidance.

Official datasets are refreshed periodically and may lag behind the source. Each dataset shows where it came from; the issuing department remains the final authority.

What "verified" means

A verified badge means we checked the identity and official record of a person or organisation. It does not guarantee every project, claim or outcome.
